About UsMcKenna Farms Therapy Services is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 that provides therapy services to special needs individuals in Northwest Georgia. McKenna Farms is a 501C3 organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in and around our community. McKenna Farms began 7 years ago with 10 children, one physical therapist assistant, 5 volunteers and two horses. As the need for services began to grow, additional therapists were hired to accommodate the waiting lists. Also, due to the lack of therapeutic services for special needs individuals in the area, the need for a facility like McKenna Farms was imperative. Presently, McKenna Farms serves 200 children and young adults weekly, staffs 13 therapists, 20 employees, has a steady base of approximately 50 volunteers and maintains 10 horses. McKenna Farms is a 13-acre complex includes a therapy clinic, office, outdoor riding arena, half-acre outdoor sensory trail and 10-stall barn. Sign up to receive our newsletter
